Don’t just compete; CREATE! In this camp, students will design a new challenge for the Conquer Youth race while learning about living a healthy lifestyle and careers in sports medicine.

Who: Created with 6th-8th graders in mind, activities could be adapted for a high school audience

Anticipated Supply Cost: It is FREE to use these online curriculum. Materials to implement the curriculum are the responsibility of the user. You can expect to spend approximately $25-$30 per camper in materials. The cost will vary based on materials used, vendor, etc. These activities use many materials that you may already have on hand (paper, scissors, yarn, etc.), which will also reduce the overall cost of the camp.

Throughout this camp you'll...

  • Complete daily exercises for physical, mental and emotional health.

  • Investigate how sunblock works.

  • Learn about Heat Illnesses and Investigate Dehydration.

  • Design and Traverse your Own Obstacles (The Crawl, Balance Caps & Chalk Course).

  • Explore Yoga and Meditation.

  • Learn about Sports Medicine and Practice Wrapping Wrist and Ankle Injuries.

  • Design and Build a Prototype of a Unique Obstacle.
