Overview
Students compete in a day-long series of challenges using Hunger Games as a theme!
Who:Â
Created with middle school and high school students in mind, this experience could be scaled down to engage upper elementary students.Â
Anticipated Supply Cost:Â
The lessons and curricula linked are FREE to use. Materials to implement the curriculum are the responsibility of the user. You can expect to spend approximately $50-$75 per student on materials. This is an estimated cost, and you can expect materials to vary depending on quantity, manufacturer, and market. These activities use several items that you may already have on hand, like paper, tape, and scissors, which could reduce the cost of this experience.
Three Events Worth of Activities:
The Tulsa Regional STEM Alliance held in-person Engineer Game competitions several years in a row, each with different STEM challenges and activities. Therefore, the materials below are organized based on versions 1, 2, and 3. Each version could be used independently of one another, or as a series.
